I used my fantasia potion to makes some changes that I didn't like and I simply contacted the support desk and they sent me a new one although it was a one time thing, a fellow in my old fc did the same thing, went from lala>human and then asked for another potion and now he's a lala again

I did that too and am quiet pleased with my character, the only changes I'd make now can easily be done via the barber shop when it comes out. I am however still in support for more fantasia being available and the news from the Live Letter hasn't given any hopes of this happening soon. So rather than just bumping an older thread I just wanted to make this one to hopefully plant in some quick fixes into the developers and not have fantasia be delayed for even more months.

Events could offer more, they're fun and give us a little something to do aside from the same old same old, but the costumes generally end up a waste of space in the players inventory or a vassal because of the armoire. Most of the events are pretty short too that can be completed in a day even for casual players. So I was just simply suggesting giving other rewards in these events such as the fantasia, maybe holiday vanity pets, and well more items of use than just the costumes.

There are also many people who are wanting fantasia and can't get the item reclaim either.

On an aside: How do you contact the support desk to get your Fantasia back? Is that ingame?

Yes, I don't know about the other systems but PC hit Esc and there is a Support Desk option in the menu that comes up (second button if memory recalls right). It had some FAQ stuff then an option to contact them.

I just told them the day I had received and used the potion and that I'd like to claim my one time use of an item restore for it and got a reply back faster than I thought that they where looking into it. Took about two weeks before I got the phial though, but it is doable. However, there is a said clause that it has to be done within 10 days. Some people have gotten back past that limit, some not. I just did make the 10 day limit by a couple of hours.
