I still prefer it to the other sitting pose for my character. He looks like he's taking a dump in the woods :|

It also occurs to me how difficult it might be to implement this. Part of why the current emote looks so ridged may be because it can work with any chair; stools, benches, whatever, but to have emotes that look genuinely natural/relaxed would probably require different animations for different types of seats. How you sit on a stool is completely different than how you sit on a bench, or in a recliner, or if you have only one armrest vs. two vs. none.

Don't forget that if they did add more, people would then complain how things look unrealistic because of the obvious problems that would happen because of different types of seating. People would then want some kind of detection to prevent the weird looking ones from happening. Not that i am against more emotes and sitting positions. I would prefer 30 different dances than sitting positions though
Just things are never as simple as people think.

    Greetings,

While this is something planned for the future, the development team will be looking into making it possible to change your postures when you sit down on chairs, benches, and the like. We'd like to make it so you might start off by sitting in a nice straight posture, but then eventually break posture and slouch, and the way this occurs would be different for each race.

It's not like we're asking to look like a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man while we sit. We just want to cross our legs and such ffs.

What kind of finish does your armor have that keeps it so shiny and white?

Could it be emotes that change your posture, if you prefer one sitting position over another?

Pretty much this. I tried kneeling like my character does and that position is absolutely painful to hold for extended periods of time. Why do midlander F's get the good sitting position?

Midlanders are soft, weak, and need the consideration. Take pity on them.
