Casual games belong in Facebook and on cell phones, not in MMO. I don't mean casual in the sense of limited playtime...my FC has very limited play time and we've done T5. I mean..."casual" in the sense where people want everything easy mode.

Why do you think ct is magically dropping i80 peices? he said the it will be the same strength as AK which means ilvl 60 gear. Also why would an i55 dungeon drop i80 gear that makes really no since at all. I play like 7-10 hours a week I have a +1, and hero+ allagan ring. It's not hard to start coil. If you can beat the extreme primals, you can beat the hard meaning you will already have a relic my assumption is these are to give players an offer for a weapon that doesn't cost mythos but is the same strength. Just harder to Obtain. Telling me to gear up another job angers me because I currently have no reason to play my alternate job since its another dd and 50min+ ques are ridiculous, make dungeons take up to 4 dds and increase enemy spawns if you go with 6 boom problem solved., esp if i'm in a i55 dungeon I have an excuse not to be on my blm. He basically told us do crystal tower on your blm so you have no reason to play your drg but it will look pretty. Which defeats the purpose.

And just who are you to decide where casual games belong? Who gave you that authority?

My only complaint is how easy myth seals are to get. Myth seals buy ilvl90 gear but you only really need ILvl50 gear to get them. I feel like WP should go back to not dropping any, ak drop 20 tops, and new dungeons shoulda been ILvl 70 and drop 30-40. Then gear progression would make more sense. As it is right now relic +1 and myth gear make skipping 70-80 gear easy. The only hard part of relic is Titan.
What I would personally like to see relic+2. You get by cleaning all new dungeons and battles, clear extreme primals and use the new ilvl90 wpn to be consumed into relic+1, clear coil, craft something awesome and expensive, consume that for relic, get ilvl100 relic+2. Oh and get ILvl 95 from turn 5, use that too.
having some perspective might help here.I don't think people get upset that CT will be placed back where it belonged. I think people who are clearing most of BCB are getting no real love and that is the cause for anger. I am sure most coil players will do CT, but it will be boring after the first clear. The extreme primals don't feel like new content because they hardly are. The extreme primals are akin to releasing a raid only to release the heroic mode four months later.
If SE released 2-3 more turns to coil in 2.1, I am sure there would be much less complaining.
The number of players having cleared coil is few and far between, I dare say the mass majority of players have yet to clear coil or even entered coil, releasing 2-3 more turns for coil as content is equivalent to shooting them in the face as even though there are new content, it isn't accessible to them for the near future.
I applaud your efforts in clearing coil (if you'd done so) but in this world we live in, things don't necessarily revolve around you or your demands.
No MMO can ever release HC content fast enough for HC groups, ultimately, it'll lead to the direction the DEVs took in FFXI > Introduce an un-defeatable HNM content and have HC groups throw themselves at it for months on end.
I don't know how many times I am going to have to post this:
"For ARR, the level cap is going to be level 50 to start the game. We don't want players to have to spend a lot of time getting to level 50. The reason behind this is that we believe the game up to level 50 is basically your tutorial. The real game begins from level 50. We have the real challenges begin there. We have a lot of end content that we've already prepared to be ready at the launch of the game."
No, it has not been casual since conception. Though with its current route it seems he is swaying from that statement and catering to the "Kawaii" Weeaboo crowd that only cares about the "Kawaii" veteran reward minions, and mounts, all stuff that is frivolous. It's going to bleed subscriptions, but like I said, its become a niche game like XI, it might even die eventually. This game had so much potential, sucks to see it happen. Yoshi lied.
Thats not gonna happen since PvP got specific armor / materias and I bet my ass that people in PvE gear gonna get slaughtered. Just look at your stats sheet, morale stat ... you ll never have that with pve gearPeople are raging about there not being cutting-edge progression content in a patch that was never intended to have cutting-edge progression content. That's ok, by late December it will be people complaining about getting rolled in Wolves' Den by people in Coil gear.
Otherwise, you pros gonna faceroll Ultima Hm / Extreme first attempt and defeat all 3 EX in 1 week too probably, not more, with screenshots and everything since y'all so good, the progression in this patch is aimed at good players willin to do a speed kill competition between servers to see who got the biggest
Stop to fail to troll about a not really hard at all raid content compared at what you can find elsewhere on the market. EX bosses already look like tougher than Turn 4.

Well, 1 thing is for sure... there will not be a realm re-reborn to save them this time.
You guys are clueless, rofl. One of the best retention rate atm and it ain't gonna drop down anytime soon.
