I've never ever seen in the history of MMO's a game go backwards like this. Clearly there is a LOT of upset people at these asinine choices SE has made since launch. Its okay though, let people defend these bad choices...when the servers are empty and subs drop drastically it will speak for itself lol.

Yes. The servers are going to empty and subscriptions are going to drop dramatically because this game does not yet have have an alliance system. The decisions they made don't correlate with your personal judgement, therefore the servers will break open like a cut coinpurse. /sarcasm

Honestly, I hope subscriptions drop and progression raiders leave. It's the same as cutting out a bad tumor.

They've been quitting left and right, other ones who still have hope have transferred to my server to play with me because they are saying theirs are so empty. ...Well, technically they're both dropping and increasing. People buy the game and stay if they like it, or quit if it doesn't suit their tastes so they can play a game that does. And there are many people who are willing to stay with this game and enjoy the game's current direction - more than enough to keep it afloat for the many years to come. Here's the problem with a vocal minority - they're the loudest, so they think they're the biggest.

Yet there's more people playing this than 1.0. I remember everyone jumping of the shit ship that was 1.0 to the point they stopped showing how many people were on the server and stopped giving out server statistics.

Without actual statistics, you could say anything and make unfounded correlations and conclusions, the fact that your friends are quitting does not in any way correlate to subs dropping as you have no statistics on how many joined vs how many left.

Quitters will always find reasons to quit and even if CT is a pre-made 24 man dungeon, it will only be a month before the same group of players complains about some aspect of the game e.g CT is "too easy" and FFXIV needs new content" you can never satisfy them... Its just like in reality, I'd simply fire any of my employee that reacts negatively while having a sense of self-entitlement and self importance to everything that comes their way, we call them, the cancers and cancers are best eliminated ASAP.
