Gear gear gear! That's all everyone thinks about! Not about the Actual content!

Of course I'm thinking about the content. The gear is relevant to that--because if the new dungeons have a recommended gearing level of AF and the Crystal Tower has a recommended gear level of 55... these dungeons cannot possibly be difficult and anyone who is wearing Relic+1/AF2/Allagan or even Primal+Darklight is going to blast through them without a shred of a challenge.

The content is completely, totally, absolutely wholly irrelevant if it's not challenging.

There's nothing stopping you from taking off some gear so you just meet the level 55 average required.

Yet, I see so many people screaming "blasphemy!" when someone suggests ilvl synch on 50 dungeons.

If synch doesn't successfully keep the challenge for higher level players, then the synch system is not well thought. It's not a matter of content but mechanics, if the only problem is the challenge.

You do know you take off your gear and put on another set right? I see players (myself included) swap out a lower set of gear when running lower level dungeons.

Titan will be recommended iLvl 60 I have heard... They are very generous when they say what iLvl they recommend.

Sorry. You didn't understand what this is meaning.

Minimum requirement of iLvl 55 means, that you can beat it with this level of gear, if everyone (that means every 24 players) are playing their role close to perfect (I'm sure, there will be a very low amount of player that can do that). The more mistakes will be done, the higher equip you will need to compensate these mistakes.

So stop crieing and wait for the content.
