    I think my post explained my position very well. If you expect me to feel bad for talking down to someone talking down to me and everyone else they disagree with, well then you will get no satisfaction here.

    Truth is an in game economy plays out very little like a real one. Those players going to any length to deny that are simply opposed to the idea of blind bids.

    I do not expect to ever see a blind bid in an mmo designed such as this one,to be as simple and basic as possible. .However, Some people are just guilty of trying to make even the most simple situation complex in order to scare others out of the debate.

    Gamer mentality is VERY EASY to predict,and people act no where near the same in games as they do IRL. I stand by that, and I am truly done here.

    {I do not feel it nessary to give a lecture or attempt to prove anything other than my point. }

    And why do you feel that people will make different types of decisions in an in game economy vs. IRL?

    Even if people will value IRL currency as more important than in game currency, you can't say that it'll make people not care on how they spend their gil. They still care about how they spend it, it's just that it's used to buy in game items.

    Regardless of a game or IRL people will natural want to....
    Buy at the lowest possible price if they have the option.
    Sell at the highest possible price if possible.

    I don't see how you could even dispute those principles. If i see item X selling for 20k and for 50k, why on earth would i want to buy the 50k one for the same item?

    The funny thing is, as i've said before, a game economy is much more simple than IRL and the information is much more easily available and to understand than in IRL, and transactions are instant. So if anything, game economies would follow economics more closely.
