im not using medica at all to be honest, i target invidually and use cure/cure2 depending on the needed heal size ... also if i see a hurt dps that doesnt get constant damage at the time i give him a quick regen and keep healing the tank to save precious time where i would need multiple cure spells for the dps
Well, sounds like how I'd do it, adding in that I usually only use Cure II with the Freecure proc and rarely spend MP casting it.im not using medica at all to be honest, i target invidually and use cure/cure2 depending on the needed heal size ... also if i see a hurt dps that doesnt get constant damage at the time i give him a quick regen and keep healing the tank to save precious time where i would need multiple cure spells for the dps
Sounds like you just need some reliable people with you then.
As far as AV, bring a whm with holy. Holy can nearly one shot the pods that's spawn the adds on Miser (Last boss). Holy twice or holy once with dps support with their aoe's. Makes the fight a million times easier. Also get rid of burs sat 3 stacks. 4 is pushing it.
Coincounter, you just need to pay attention to him. He doesn't have red circles/lines so is good ol' fashion pay attention to the boss itself.
First boss......hardest boss there IMO. Keep Regen on everyone and drop stacks at 2. 3 is too much for a healer unless they are experienced.
Biggest advice I can bring for the easiest run...no sch. Bring a white Mage. Sch can do it, but the rest of the group needs to do their part very well as sch lacks the burst aoe healing a whm has. And not to mention the poison on first boss annihilates a fairy. Can't sure them and can't make them eat fruit. Same with last boss, but they at least take reduced aoe damage so they can stay alive better on Miser.

I haven't tried AV yet. Normal Garuda is doable and actually an excellent, fun fight if the group knows what to do. I don't think any particular classes are needed.
P.S.
I think a key to a successful fight is a good camera position, neither too near nor too far, and a bit overhead. That's true for many boss fights, of course.![]()

Every time mytho reset and i cant find a garuda farm for being to early i use df with my paladin full ak set and almost never fail... but i admit that sometimes a blm/smn succeed in to miss the comet from all 3 garudas o.OI just have one question, where did you get that 95% success rate you're claiming? Personally I had to do howling eye over 10 times because people die to stupid shit and I'm certain it wasn't a skill issue on my part. DF can pair you with a lot of people who don't know what they're doing, I very highly doubt that there is a 95% success rate for AV and howling eye in DF.
My advice to the OP, keep trying, as I mentioned above it took me over 10 tries to beat garuda when I did it and now I'm in a T5 coil group. Finding an FC will definitely help but it can take some effort on your part to find one that's right for you. As for whether you should quit or not, ask yourself this one question, are you still having fun? At the end of a day this is a game, have fun with it.
And when i go with my brd is very very hard for it to fail, ppl on behemoth seems that have learn the fight.
I make a lot of mistakes when I play..... I try to go in overgeared if possible. Maybe you should focus on upgrading your armor (if you havn't yet.) It can make up for a lot of mistakes.
...
Gotta love the internet
@OP just keep on trying, best would be going with people you know, at least that way can talk over and try again with same group next time around while DF group is always going to be different people.
