    Please reconsider ilvl 60 drops

    Pharos Sirius and the new hard mode dungeons should drop ilvl 70 items, not ilvl 60.

    Because ilvl 70 gear is available on a vendor, ilvl 60 items are only placeholders at best, giving very little reason to prefer one dungeon over another. This leads to players preferring whatever is fastest and easiest, which can be seen even now with Wanderer's Palace being preferred over Amdapor Keep.

    Upgrading the new drops to ilvl 70 has several benefits:
    • It gives incentive to run different dungeons.
    • Boss fights are more exciting when you can win an upgrade.
    • More items increase player choice and make gearing more interesting.
    With ilvl 60 drops, many players will run the new content only a handful of times before choosing to stick with the fastest method for earning tomestones, since ilvl 70 items are the real reward. It would be best if ilvl 70 items dropped to encourage variety and make the new dungeons more exciting.

    I would say do both. ILVL 60 drops would be the normal drops but have rare ILVL 70 drops. This would be the best of both worlds and keep the dungeon relevant.

    It's probably so they don't have to make any new iLvl 70 gear.

    I don't mind too much. Darklight is fairly easy to get. It would be nice if it had something different.

    This is precisely correct. People who have spent many hours farming darklight gear will be quite annoyed to find ilvl 70 gear dropping left and right.

    I feel that the ilvl 60 drops are more orientated towards casual players. We will doing Sirius because we actually only do AK or WP 1/2 times a week. Ilvl 60 gear would be phenomenal for us because most of us will never be decked out in ilvl 70 at the rate of 1/2 runs a week.

    If their direction for BRD armor is indicative of how they will continue to make the job look, this would be incentive enough for me, personally. Assuming these new dungeons drop something that isn't pink/purple/high heels.

    If these were made I70 that would really piss off all of us that had to grind out dungeons to get our gear. I don't know what the alternative would be though. Because of the way they set up the game they kind of messed up the progression all over the place. Maybe one of these will finally drop the I60 Bracelet that was missing from Amdapor...LOL

    The more I think about it, the more I am ok with iLvl60.
    I would have agreed with a iLvl65 option, but that would dilute the benefit of DL that we have already farmed for.

    They said that there would be a new tome type in the future, maybe that could be traded for iLevel 80-85 gear?

    But hopefully the runs are at least interesting to do.

    Platformer elements perhaps lol.
