The rest of his post referred to the lack of ability to kick an afk-er or griefer from your party. We now know that is possible with the vote-kick option coming. How is that blind defense?

So I guess they're too busy appeasing people who want vanity slots and hairstyle changes and etc stuff we don't really NEED to focus on end game content, huh. Yeah let's put a 24 man end game dungeon on duty finder amongst random people because the duty finder has been perfect up to now with no problems. People will have very little wait times for entering!

DF was a great addition for one reason: It allowed you to not suffer so much that fate of being left behind because everyone else on the server is past a certain encounter. I don't particularly like where this DF business is headed. I remember 24(I think it was 24) man "Duty Finder" raids in STO. It was never pretty. I feel sorry for everyone who starts this dungeon at a later date with all the chaos going down and PITAs start being PITAs because not everyone there are pro with ilevel90 gear doing a ilevel80 dungeon that has a ilevel55 gear check. Fun times for sure. I'm sure they'll get around to adjusting it to 3 premade groups sometime by the mid-end of next year.

This is great. Forced DF and no way to kick afk'ers. 24 people join and due to a single AFK'er a whole party decides to leave. With only 2 out of 3 parties there, the rest leaves. Excellent!

This is pretty much my biggest fear with DFing 16 others.

I want to remove the afk griefing. If that requires a /kick, exp penalty or a lock from DF then it should be implemented.

You would pleased to know that there will be vote kick. And harsher penalties as well.

Didn't they also say that they would be implementing server only duty finder? As well as a board where you can look for specific requirement runs? Couldn't you just post on the board, have your other FC members answer and join up? May it won't be for Crystal Tower immediately, but it does seem like there's a way around around this problem potentially. Albeit convoluted.

CT was supposed to be 24 man raid content. This is not. This is 24 man pug content. Period. Complete deal-breaker for many.

Don't jump on people for assumptions. This isn't assumption. This is blunt announcement.

The gear excuse doesn't hold. He said himself, ilvl 55 will be able to do CT. AKA crap gear that took a bit of purchasing.

If there is no way to queue as 24 people, SE will have shot themselves in the foot and would have been better off holding back the patch until there is such option.

Not one to bash normally, but I'll agree this sucks in all sorts of ways.. no technical reason to have made it where you can't go in with a full 24 either..

Vote to kick is coming in 2.1 learn to read please. It's abit silly their doing this, i get they want to promote DF but they shouldn't do it at the expense of FCs that wanna run 24 man groups.
