We seem to be forgetting gear checks. So your 'nonsense people' will actually be capable at least gear wise to complete CT. That makes it considerably less painful.

EDIT: Not that I'm saying that this was a good move from SE; I would prefer making our own alliances, but it won't be terrible using DF as it is now with undergeared people attempting Titans etc.
