High level Weapon / Armor trading; selling

I dunno if this was discussed but from farming Garuda and Titan and from Running coil I've noticed I have a lot of useless doubles of items or from running coil; noticed that the Mythology gear I purchased is outclassed by some Allagan gear.

Since most gear is class depenedant I can't use the armor I bought with myth on another class. So now I'm stuck with either allagan gear or Myth gear that can't be used on another class (save jewelry).

This being said I think players should be able to trade SAME iLVL gear with each other for jewelry or armor/ weapons; some mix of the sort.

I know the game is supposed to be balanced, dunno if this sounds broken; I'm pretty sure lots of players have though similar on gear that they can't use or trade and it would be a big waste to get rid of.

Having at least TWO of each Garuda and Titan weapon from farming ( putting some in retainer) I don't wanna throw them out simply because I have a double or triple. obviously the game allowed for us to have more than one, I'm sure it Would be otherwise if not.

So that being said; we can trade in those Green and Pink In for seals for the grand company. I think we should be allowed to the do same for Myth and Philo with ilvl60+ gear

ILVL 60-70 would be for philosophy

And iLVL90 for myth.

Not to trade for the similar amount we paid for the item but like half or whatever would seem fair.

Thats just what I think. Hopefully someone(s) some where share the same idea.

I don't really get your point. You're complaining because you're hoarding 2-3 of every Garuda weapon...well then just get rid of them. You only need 1 (or less if you don't even play the class) just earn them back in the future.

Its not a complaint; I love how people are glass half empty.

I have more than one because from farming I noticed ; from being the last person to leave an instance , the item would go directly to me and since I have it, it said I couldnt obtain it. So I would put stuff in my retainer and then get doubles triples.

Im implying since the game allows you to have doubles ; why not have a positive way to get rid of it.

AND my main idea is for the mythology/ allagan item trade. because I'm only complaining that I have a Wyrm Helmet that's outclassed by Allagan visor and now I have no use for the helm.

You could have looked at drops, and decided which pieces had the stats you wanted, if the allegan had the stats you wanted, you could have chosen not to buy the dragoon hat. I think it's fine how it is now, maybe in a couple patches you will be able to trade them in for GC seals. Maybe the system that WoW is headed would be more to your liking, each set of class gear morphs to the spec you are in, so you don't have multiple sets for classes anymore, let's take that and multiply it by the inabilty you have to plan ahead on gear purchases, and make it to where the allegan only has one set, and it magically morphs into any job you currently are, if you are a warrior it's the tank armor, if you swap to white mage, it becomes healer armor. They could implement this on a special server, and ship you and everyone else that thinks this is a good idea to that server.

You're missing the main point.

I'm just suggesting why not?

If its fine the way it is; so be it. But why not do something else with it?

If housing brings about mannequins for you to put weapons and armor on display or have some sort of armory; then whatever

But that's not being announced or discussed; that's why I brought this to attention; to talk about

And for the double of the primal weapons I have. I could easily throw away the doubles and if I need to get them again just grind it out; but i rather see how else I can use them, instead of waiting for me to lvl another class to 50 and the using it for 40mins while I do chimera to to titan

Your idea would only create problem where pple would need item they don't need it just so they could trade for item they could use.

Nope of there's no use then that's fine.

BUT for trading; it would help if some one had a Garuda item they didnt need and some one traded them one they did.
