    I agree there should still be a limit to how much Exp a person can get, say 1 Exp shy of 51. Hell, you could go even further if you further reduced Exp gained for 50+ players. Just so that the bar has SOME use.

    Because I'm willing to do things a bit different? Why would you want something exactly alike the last MMORPG you played? We were promised something different. At the moment it's like playing WOW, but with a slightly different template. But that's off topic --- Sotter, I'm not even gonna acknowledge your +1manship. If you don't have something constructive to say I really don't see the point in putting digit to key.

    Hard to answer that because of the cap. The way things are set up it's hard to determine if you get ANYTHING after 50.

    Let me ask you this Yoshi: Where's the incentive to go back an help lower level players once you have all the seals and tomes you need? Why should I? Why shouldn't I just concentrate on my DL gear? I just don't get it, one minute you're trying to instil a proper community, one that helps its fellow player and the next you're providing literally no incentive. I'd personally help without the incentive but the majority won't.

    Well i can tell you that the answer to that question is certainly not "give me exp past the level cap so that when I do get the cap raised (from 50-60) that Im already level 59".

    That would make absolutely 0 sense. Im not criticizing your idea but I think you want something that would be "OP" in terms of incentive.

    I like to help people just because. I have fun when I do it. that is the reward. I think that at cap the battle exp you would gain can and should be put towards other things. as it stands, its not, and that is not something game breaking for me.

    I'm the same, but the majority aren't. What happens when the lack of incentive starts leaking over? This game in particular is absolutely reliant on pro assistance. You take away the incentive, you can pretty much take away the pro assistance. If you take away the pro assistance the game is broken.

    I did address your concern earlier, I said the Exp should be cut down majorly and the cap ALMOST lifted to 51, meaning you'd be 1 shy of 51, not 59. I was suggesting the cap be unlimited but I note your concern. I don't personally think it'd be an issue, but that's just me. Whether you do 10 times the levelling before cap lift while you're doing other things or you level up regularly after the cap, I guess the result is the same. I just don't like the fact my hard earned Exp is being sucked into nothingness.

    Wrong on both counts. I suggested a number of fixes in topics to fix that, like a 90% reduction after hitting 50 so that Exp earned was purely passive. I also suggested on a cap just before 51, so you wouldn't technically be level 51, you'd be a fraction away from it.. Just gonna copy and paste it in a minute, lol.
