    I would respec if you aren't planning to play SMN - 30 MND can make a pretty big difference with your healing output as SCH.
    I'm playing SMN as my main atm, but could fulltime BLM as it's already 50. Just not sure of how much it's hurting my heals.

    Also it's important to understand that, outside of Physick, SCHs heal output is inherently lower than the WHM heals. Where SCH makes up for it is the shield that comes with Adlo and Succor heals.
    Full aware of that, and probably what drives me nuts too lol. If it was not for the fairy, I would have jumped ship to WHM already. That's the core of the problem, due to mechanics of the SCH, the heals are already lower, so 30 less mind ... ugh.

    Try not to confuse "Lower Heals" with "Not as good at healing". SCH and WHM are more than comparable in all situations. In endgame dungeons, they're at their best when they pair up (1 of each) because they complement each other very well. A solo heal SCH is just as capable as a solo heal WHM in 4-man dungeons.

    It might help to consider the 'shield' as a heal as well, because it effectively reduces the damage they are dealt. It's more of a proacative heal compared to WHM's reactive heals. That said, the SCH Adlo can potentially heal much more than a WHM heal, especially if it crits.

    Also keep in mind that SCH can do pretty good DPS too when they aren't spamming heals by using Cleric Stance.

    Again, full aware of that. I understand the mechanic of the prevention shield vs raw healing throughput. I can heal just fine at the moment on SCH, the core issue is that I'm naturally 30 points of mind short, not a debate of whm vs sch. If I would switch whm, it's not inherently because sch has lower throughput barring the shield and fairy, it's because I'm at a disadvantage stat wise due to SMN attributes.

    well in Ilv70 it becomes about an 8% boost, and closer to 5% in Ilv90 so the better geared you are, the less those 30 points matter.

    Every 1 MND increases your Cure I about 1 HP (and Cure II a little over 2 HP). MND scales up with weapon damage, and so the better your weapon, the more HP cured that MND gives.

    The higher item level your armor is, the less that 30 MND matters.

    VIT only enhances your own survivability. If you are piddling around with Titan in i60, then sure, pat yourself on the back with a good amount more HP. Once you have some i90 or even just full i70+, VIT is so high you reach the bottom limit for what you should have (3200hp for Titan, a bit more for some coil levels) without the stat bonus. At that point you should probably respec into keeping everyone ELSE alive.

    As Aedra said, 30MND is a little more than 40hp per cure. We'll say 50 to make it even. 50hp every 3 seconds for one minute (GCD is 2.5, server response time gratuity to keep things nice is 0.5). That is 1000 hp every minute, 60000/hr. You aren't going to be realistically casting every 3 seconds for an hour, so we'll be generous and cut it in half for 30000/hr. Average hp of a tank is 6000. (napkin mathing like mad) You could save your tank from near-death 5 times every hour, 10 times if you are spamming, JUST from 30 measly points of MND. Damn... that is almost equivalent to Benediction! (Sorry WHMs)

    Or you can be that selfish asshat with 500+ extra hp.
