    Yes, a poorly played PLD should be just as bad as a poorly played WAR. I never said otherwise, in fact the whole point to what I said is that they should be as equally good or bad and that the difference should be based on player skill and the situation, not inherently built into the classes.

    Also, just because other MMO games (and yes I have played MMO's since EQ1 and have shipped an MMO as a designer) have made "easy-mode tanks" and "skill tanks", doesn't make it good class design or necessarily appropriate for this game. You state that it is good game design because it rewards good players by making them better, the game designer in me disagrees because it creates a larger rift between skilled players and average players. The difference between a good player and an average player should solely be their difference in skill, not their skill level plus a bonus built into the class. This off course goes both ways where a class shouldn't be designed so if you play like an idiot you will be okay.

    Should PLD be easier to play than WAR? No. Should WAR be better than PLD if played well? No. They should be equal but different, ie same destination but different routes.
