I try to tell you again.... your complains are useless
The complaints are the only reason the game is getting an overhaul.

If you wanna help the devs, change your childish attitude and bring some good and positive idea... then wait

an MMO needs to grow up, and sometimes its slow... FFXIV had some big problems from the beginning, so we will need even more patience...

all of us paid the game 80$... should we all cry all day on forums?

and since you are posting on the pubblic forum of FF, you should not be so frustrated if someone is not in accord with your posts.
No, my negative complaints are not useless. I make it a point to make them constructive. Negative feedback and nonconstructive feedback are not identical concepts. (EDIT: mutually exclusive => indentical. DERP)

If you happen to think that your $80 were well spent, more power to you. I don't. I think this game has way, way more faults than positives, and I'm going to make that known to devs and players (and what I think would have been a better solution). I don't get angry when people argue against me, but I do get angry when people get in a debate with me and proceed to ignore my points or construct strawman arguments.

I'm still working on getting my emotions under control for such occasions.

Try RIFT. Been playing it a week now. Pretty much a complete MMO at launch, you get that feeling early on, and every day afterwords. Tons to do early on, and I also hear...even endgame. I was skeptical since this Company Trion had nothing previous...but I'm presently surprised. Think of WoW and GW having a child, and it not being crap. They really came out swinging and I predict them to take a sizable chunk out of the MMO market with this game.

Ill come back to XIV when they release their first expansion pack. For now, I got my solid foundation character in place, so it was time well spent regardless.

Played RIFT for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately, since I don't have any spare time right now with 5 classes and a full time job, I can't play it anymore.

But I agree with its perfect launch. Fully fleshed out world, tons of quests, unique classes, unique combat and class system, impeccable support service and development cycle, AND they're allowing free 14 day trials. They pretty much have everything nailed down to the T, and they're a brand new company.

I'm far from a fanboy.. considering I'm not a boy........ I was stating the facts
And no ffxi wasn't huge at the ps2 launch. It had content wise nm (fought at 15+) rank mission 1-10. Quests (which ppl barely did apart from needed quests for spells, jobs, af gear.) leveling was 1-75 and only advance jobs were pld drk bst smn nin sam rng drg and brd. And only the starter missions for Zilart. It was a year after that was when COP was added, because I was just stating to date my then b/f

SE or any mmo don't release a full content expack content from the expac is added over time. Typically taking 5 mnths to fully release all content from said expac or maybe longer.

Back from the rift forums... they complain as much as we do even how much they do not like their auction house. Apperently selling this on it is a hassle because no one buys from it. Or really uses it. http://forums.riftgame.com/showthrea...-House-Quality of you do not believe me. So ya... rift ant perfect either XD

Im pretty interested in the next MMO they are working on with the SCI fi channel. Not much to know except that its a whole new concept in MMO's. They are working with scifi to make an MMO and a TV series that go hand in hand. As the seasons progress on TV...the MMO progresses simultaneously. From the extremely limited concept art and short video...it looks like a post apocalyptic world set a hundred years or so aftermath. Needless to say, I think this offers a whole new Genre that we have only scratched the surface on. Id love to see it play out where the player's affect the script writing on the screen.

The other one they are working on is an RTS MMO. Think C&C the mmo. Kinda Meh...but who knows. This Trion company may just be the next Blizzard.
