The only logical conclusion one can make is that he does not understand the issue that the OP described. Players who make condescending remarks have typically never experienced the lag/delay issue because they live close to a server. The issue described is an accepted bug by devs:

Unfortunately many people get a rise out of calling other players bad and enjoy thinking that they are better at the game than someone who struggles due to lag.
