All wrong. +1 glows. Obviously making it the best upgrade. Nough said end of story. Goodnight.

Get more i90 pieces will help you out more in the long run. The stats are a much better improvement than +1 damage on that bow. Your damage without the +1 will still be one of the highest in the groups even in coil content. The +1 weapon is a big upgrade for many of the other jobs, but for bard it does not make much of a noticeable difference with the amount of mythology we have to use.
Unless you are one of those players who wants a glowing weapon. A lot of bards I've been meeting are picking up the +1 for the aesthetic glow more so than the actual stats they are getting.

Adventure, that's the life for me!
Also we have tested 2 bards full DL one of them with +1 and other with chest AF2 and the second one have better DPS. (we tested 3 and the dps was gryphon chest >AF2 chest> +1) same rotations obviously.
Nice. I feel like the crafted items iLevel doesn't do them enough justice. Those are some really strong items with the correct melds in them.
Have you guys tested out other gears?

Except that post is complete nonsense.
+19 crit (most likely 12) and +18 det isn't ever going to beat +9 dex and +34 crit.

@Luso: No, I was in doubt if buy the chest o upgrade the bow first so we only do this test in a lvl 50 dummy.
@Ziddyt: if I am not wrong he had 20dex, 24crit and a little more than 13det and yep it parsed better but for a little difference, maybe he was Lucky with RoB proc. The fact is that we got this dmg rank

Same rotations maybe, but if you're testing on Training dummies, one person could get WAY more River of Blood procs or even Misery's End's because the Dummy health spikes up and down so quickly.
"We tested" doesn't mean much if you didn't look at how many Bloodletters/Misery's Ends each of you had.
Misery's Ends was not in the rotation. And RoB have nothing to do with the health of the dummy / mobsSame rotations maybe, but if you're testing on Training dummies, one person could get WAY more River of Blood procs or even Misery's End's because the Dummy health spikes up and down so quickly.

I can tell you from experience that +1'ing your weapon should be one of the last if not THE last upgrade you should make. The only reason I am +1'ing my weapon currently over my chest is because I NEED the ACC for Twintania if I were to equip all my i90 accessories. Basically my view on +1'ing your weapon is that you should do it when you are having trouble maintaining the ACC needed for the later turns (4 and 5). Hope this helps any questions just ask.
You're right, but it's no less relevant information to tell people if you're trying to use your test as proof.
# of RoB procs is still relevant even now that I know you weren't using ME.
