FFXIV Community,
Final Fantasy fan as well as violinist here. When I'm not in-game I've been thinking about the wonderful music of this game and have arranged the music for the city of Ul'dah for solo violin. Check it out here:

I'm real happy for you... and ima let you finish.. but Oboe is the greatest reed instrument of all time... OF ALL TIME.

Moar is on the way
Next on the drawing board is the music from the Garuda boss fight. This music has a fascinating fusion of baroque and rock music that evokes images of suspense. Sometimes I have one of those "chase nightmares" and I plan to capture that when I arrange this music for solo violin. Exciting stuff!

Subscribed, nice job :3
Violin is my favorite instrument to listen to and you did a great job... however, you played it just a bit too fast. Slow it down a bit and you'll be golden.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, some musical phrases sound better faster and others slower. And there is a bit of a balancing act there and even choosing whether on not to change the tempo. I was going back and forth a little on this until this was the tempo that felt comfortable with me. And because the driving beat holds the music together changing tempo seemed like it would break the flow of the music.
But it's a good point to bring up. When I decide to upload a new rendition of this there are some other things I want to add and change as well.
Thanks!
