    Over reacting

    It seems people are completely over reacting. I sincerely doubt SE would completely "nerf" the class into oblivion. it's an adjustment simply due to people playing the class better and as a result doing more than originally intended. If the so called "nerf" drives people into re rolling or quitting the game. then good riddance as they were never going to stay anyway. It wont change how bard is very useful in all fights.

    Nah man Ragnarok Bard, even though did not have many songs by himself was more useful and gamebreaking than what we have now. But we can't have that here or it'd be too OP since Bard here is primarily dps

    2. Top two huh? I think it's heavily outclassed by summoner here. Monk should have more dps, buff monk.
    3. Not true at all. Firstly the number 1 AOE king is BLM, which outclasses BRD by miles. It's amazing, actually. Their ability to nuke down groups of mobs at NO cost is amazing. BRD aoe has very low potency and costs ALOT of tp. Wide volley and the like are only particularly useful against low hp targets. Against stronger targets you are better off taging everyone with dots. At that point summoner gets more aoe damage than you even.
    White mage has better AOE damage.
    5. Still outclassed by BLM i think. Lancer should have more burst however

    7. Well the miqote in the opening cutscene is so cute
    8. Mages have an easy time too. Meteor is required

    In conclusion. Buff monk. Add new dex class. Give a silence to WAR/MNK

    personally i think that removing the bard mobility and adding cast times would instantly RUIN the class. that is the whole point behind playing bard, RANGED MOBILE UTILITY. if you must nerf anything make it the potency of our skills.

    About Bard's DPS:

    I think, considering BRD's utility, mobility, and ranged attributes, they should be the lowest DPS of the DPS classes - which they are, the closer to iLVL90 you get. However, I don't see a reason to nerf it in the slightest in iLVL90 gear. If anything, SE should nerf their early end-game superiority, which is when they are truly dominant. See, I personally used to think Bard was OP, too good, amazing, why am I not rerolling, etc, and so did my FC and friends in general, but that was in AF gear, with Ifrit Bow/Garuda Bow. I learned my lesson though as we all geared, and it beaome apparent that their DPS scales way worse than the other DPS classes - now, none of my FC mates or friends cry OP about their damage or mobility, as it's just not that special anymore.

    About Bard's utility:

    This is where Bards are wanted in virtually every party, 4 man or 8 man. Whether it's giving Foe's to the casters' DPS, Mage's Ballad to keep the raid full of mana and allow strategies previously unusable, TP song to the melee in a long fight, whatever, their support is very, very strong. While I don't think SE should nerf songs' effects, I do think the MP cost should be higher, or make the songs more limited in use.
