Final Fantasy X/X-2 fates should be released

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in japan they're giving lightning an yuna outfit for pre ordering x/x-2. I think that's enough really. I don't really agree with all the cross game promotions.. i'd rather see xiv content than a promo event for other games

Think about it like this; Cross-promotion means sales, sales means profit, profit means progress, progress means more content!


With all that said, I'd be way more excited for a cameo event featuring the Onion Knights (*or their respective Freelancer characters) from FF3 (*DS).
Would only be fitting what with Crystal Tower coming out and all.

You do know that Onion Knight armour is already in the game? The helm was a bonus item included with the original version's Collector's Edition, and the rest of the armour was rewarded through a specific 'faction' levequest. I'm not sure they're still attainable in ARR though, but at the very least those who gained them in 1.0 still have access to them (I still have my Onion Helm for instance ).

As for a FFX/X-2 crossover event in ARR, I'm glad SE are not doing one - FFX/X-2 have long since come and gone - they're old games, so having a crossover event would not serve much (yes I know it's being updated in HD for PS4). But then I never liked X and X-2 much so I guess I'm just playing devil's advocate here.

But then I never liked X and X-2 much so I guess I'm just playing devil's advocate here.

Umm, afaik PS4 isn't getting those ports (unless there's a source that can confirm it).
