My suggestion to Square Enix for the future of MMOs.

I'm looking forward to the going P2P. Hopefully much of the nonsense we see on these boards will disappear then.

Why do you assume that because I post negative feedback that I don't like the game or that I wouldn't enjoy it farther down the road?

If you think this negative feedback will go away just because it goes P2P, please take a look at WoW, Aion, or any other MMO with forums. xD Some people keep accounts active just to post.

I agree though that they need to out a little more time and effort into a MMO before they release it. Some people say "FFXI was released with no content so this makes total sense! Quit complaining!". Guess what! FFXI received many negative reviews as well (even long after its release). Sure, they did the same thing with FFXI, but they should have learned from that large mistake. It is indeed unreasonable to ask for a perfect MMO with everything anyone can dream of at launch, but I honestly don't think anyone was asking that. The state of the FFXIV release was borderline unplayable and almost pathetic.

an MMO needs to grow up, and sometimes its slow... FFXIV had some big problems from the beginning, so we will need even more patience...

Constructive my ass. I'm not in here trying to give SE specifics on what to change, although when I do that I also get arrogant people calling me out for trolling, I also getting ignorant people telling me I'm an idiot for wanting whatever change and I get a mob of people telling me I should be more constructive. Point being I don't need to tell SE where they screwed up and how to fix it, same way when a doctor $@#!s up in the ER room and his patient dies, the patient's kin doesn't tell him how to do a better job next time, its the doctors job.

No, my negative complaints are not useless. I make it a point to make them constructive. Negative feedback and nonconstructive feedback are not identical concepts. (EDIT: mutually exclusive => indentical. DERP)

If you happen to think that your $80 were well spent, more power to you. I don't. I think this game has way, way more faults than positives, and I'm going to make that known to devs and players (and what I think would have been a better solution). I don't get angry when people argue against me, but I do get angry when people get in a debate with me and proceed to ignore my points or construct strawman arguments.

I'm still working on getting my emotions under control for such occasions.
