OMG you are soooooo Right!!

They should change noting about FFXIV EVER!! It is 100% perfect as it is. If they added anything to the game it would just soooo ruin it.

Especially if they added anything from FFXI... i mean, what kind of loser company even made that game?

There is nothing at all redeemable about FFXI and nothing from that game should be carried over. I mean, 11 and 14 arent even the same number.

Plus look at all the stupid races they had in FFXI, humans? Really? Midgets? Musclebound big people? Cat people? Elves? Come on, this is 2013!

And all those stupid classes they had, like Paladin, Warrior, Bard, Black Mage, White Mage, Monk, Summoner... Those have nothing to to with FFXIV, at all, ever.

Final Fantasy XI was a great game indeed! However, that game is still live! If you or anyone else feels they are missing out on certain things from Final Fantasy XI they can go back at any time and get exactly what they are looking for!

The races? The races are a trademark Final Fantasy stamp! Look at Final Fantasy X! Kimahri Ronso wasn't human at all but could speak and act like a human! So it goes beyond Final Fantasy XI!

And for your last statement of Paladin, Warriors, Mages etc all come from early versions of Final Fantasy games! Final Fantasy XI did NOT create these classes new, they have been around since the beginning! All of them may not have been playable BUT they certainly were there!

If people want Vanity slots they should go play Age of Conan, or if they want minions they should play WoW. Those games are still active, so no need to borrow any of their features. And Rift has plenty of Fates, no reason for FFXIV at all.
