Buff behemoth/odin gear

It should at least be comparable with ilevel 70 gear.

It takes less time usually to farm any other similar in slot items (e.g. darklight boots) than it does to get a gold or 5 silvers from these fates considering they pop once every 24 hours and die within 10-15 minutes.

Which would be fantastic if we had a vanity system even remotely on the horizon.

Vanity Items do not require a vanity system. Said system just lets you use vanity in places you normally wouldn't be able to.

In other words... they don't care if people are bored of doing dungeons and buying currency gear.

We need more variety when gearing up, it all comes down to speed running WP and buying the gear.

Or paying a ridiculous price for crafted stuff, because they need even more dungeon runs to make...

Who needs to farm DL or spend gil when you can just kill Odin once and get body/hands/legs/feet all from a single slot right?

Considering you have to see the mobs from either one of these FATEs to attack them let alone they do die very quickly as that is probably where everyone in that zone if not more have gathered... I never saw the items from either of these bosses anymore then just vanity items. Never crossed my mind to think they were good gear or worth the lag fest/headache at times to get to them let alone be able to get into a group and attack them heh.

I think that even with the handicap of some or a large number not being able to target the mob to attack that the gear from either of these two or any FATE for that matter is too easy to get to make the item level too terribly high... Maybe that's just my personal thought on the matter but there it is. So to get good gear you have to grind a bit... what Final Fantasy game have you ever played (mmo or not) where you didn't have to grind for one thing or another?

24 hours? Don't you mean 72? I haven't done these fates since the first few weeks after launch because I can't see the damn boss. Odin was ok, I could see him for most of the fight (would get silvers) but behemoth was just bs and I was getting cleaved by something I couldn't see or fight.
