    As surprised as I am to say this, I agree with Peregrine. Well, provided they use some of the more recent titles. The series is heavy on concepts and lore, so it has a good chance of working.

    This I'm sort of iffy on. You'd have to fall back on what was set for RomaSaga 1-3. Saga frontier's character growth dynamics were pretty out there and would have to be changed for an MMO (monsters, mystics and mechs). I'd love to see an MMO with Itou Kenji's music, though.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
    * Design ideas:
    Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

    Hardly lol running a game like WoW costs a lot, you think all the employees work for free? (not just devs marketing, PR, web, receptionist! lol) As well as all the costs in running the server, ISP, Electricity etc. When SE Shutdown XIV they said that the servers were like 8% of their total costs. And even had to shutdown airconditioning and turn off lights just so we could play the game.

    I'd like to see them make a MMO truly capable of killing WoW. Which honestly i think could be pretty easy. All WoW did was take Everquest's system, put a warcraft skin on it and make the game so easy a toddler could play it then advertised the hell out of it. I doubt the new MMO will be a existing franchise it'll probably be something completely new and i read somewhere that they've been planning to make a MMO where you could do things along the lines of the battle scenes from Advent Children maybe this will be it. I want to see a huge truly persistent world with sandbox elements I see all these games that advertise as a "persistent world" but then it ends up being a world that doesn't really change they just add a new area or a new boss. What about a world that truly changes over time? Have it start out in the usual Medieval Fantasy setting then as time goes on discoveries are made in the world, technology advances eventually into a modern day society, maybe keep advancing past that into some future technology along the lines of Phantasy Star or Megaman.

    As far as i know they make about 7$ profit/month with each subscription due to the big numbers of subscribers.
    the development costs are a joke compared to what they earn every month and the server costs might be the biggest in the long run. But with these numbers you can do almost everything. And no game developer will get even close to it with their copy wow tactics, which so far ALL failed pretty much. Rift might do better but they just lack the years of content.

    Nobody needs a wow clone as long wow is still running and evolving (i dont like it but its just a fact).
    Only wow can kill itself imho.

    yeah it costs a gaming company roughly 250million USD to pump out a AAA MMO (that is total costs) so yeah, the game would pay for itself in a year.
