They're looking into it for what... Over 1 month? How hard is it to make this change? How did they not though of this problem once they sent out Fantasia Potion? Also, if you noticed the last picture (because i had to replace it again due to bad IRL stuff) they said to me to go to the forums and give the feedback. That's what i'm doing, but the diference between my thread and the others, is that i'm trying to make somehow a petition for them to bring this ASAP. That's why i need players to support this idea.
EDIT:
@Anayrie - it's all a matter of making it a long cooldown like 3 months. Or make Blacklist work with player ID and not ingame character. The player ID never changes unlike the character name. Example: You blacklist me. It would appear at your blacklist Master Kyro, but on SE records it would appear my log in ID. This would make that when a player would change name, that wouldnt disturb the blacklists, because what was really blocked was the player ID. TBH im not sure if this idea can be used, but it would still avoid the mass amount of trolling and the players would be happy with their new names.
P.S: The funniest thing, is that they made my FC leader to change his name... and now they say they don't have the service avaiable... so they have the ability to change names or not? And i know he was blacklisted by some people...

Yeah, I get wanting a name change, just I hope it will be something that is more controlled so that it wouldn't be abused.EDIT:

I'm with you making this (and fantasia) made ASAP. That post indicating they where "still in talks" was made on Oct 22nd I believe. So that has been 17 working days since, and the "still in talks" part implies that they have been looking into it earlier. I don't see where it would be a difficult issue (at least in the fantasia) to put it on the mog station or offer more via the in world events ect..
Edit
Yeah, they should be able to make name changes. In past games I had known a few people to have names reported as offensive in some way and needing a change.

They already said they're looking into adding this feature. Demanding it now isn't going to speed things up. Since there isn't anything available at the moment, that means they need time to create the service. Just because people can change their offensive names, doesn't mean an actual service is available. Names could probably only be changed if a gamemaster flags it to be. Doing that for every player that requests one would be extremely time consuming and would best be handled by an automated service through the Mogstation. They're looking into it for what...
