Dragoon?

Actually dragoons will have the power to transform their bodies into formidable wyvrens themselves. How awesome would that be? But yes I would like my jump back. Maybe instead of a wyvren we get original weaponskills in the likeness of dragon abilities.

This game is going to be drastically different. Instead of Dragoon, lancers will ride chocobo's and become chocoboknights!

It does is a possibility. After all, there's a few jobs that use polearm other than LNC...dragoons, chocobo knights, templars...we are saying dragoon because its the more classic one, but there is a chance of any of these others to show up later on.

Yes, add jumps if you must, but just make something, hell.. anything as long as its new!I just dont want to see a copy/paste of ffxi job system.. f*ck that, I will just play ffxi then.

But yeah, add a dragon-like new ability. Maybe something like "Dragon heart" - Automatically resets all dragoon/lance cooldowns, also boosts your speed with your auto-attacking lance.

Something like that would be real neat, I think.

Dragoon would most deffinitely be the job i would choose having played lancer for the majority of my time on ffxiv. I'd love to see a dragoon set up simmilar to ffix's freya making use of dragon powers as well as jumps and throwing javelins down on the enemy from mid air. Having played xi i wouldn't say no to a wyvern either so long as they give us some customizability of the wyvern. Ofcourse anything new brought to the table will be appreciated as well =)

Now that i think about it Freya is one of my favourite type of dragoons in FF, she had some pretty cool dragoon abilities

Yes i do agree that "Jump" is dragoon signature move. However i hope that they will improvise on the dragoon of ffxi and maybe give us more dragon-like abilities. Haha maybe something like a "fire breath" lol

Well in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Dragoons had the front cone breath abilities for the 3 elements. It's not too entirely far-fetched honestly. Though in FFTA Dragoons could also use greatswords but I doubt we'd see that here.

Nah not really, FFXI is the only game with them and all they do is serve as an excuse to weaken the dragoon itself from a design perspective. (Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.) Plate mail. (Can I have it?)
