My general recommendation is to get a full set of ilvl55 gear (Imperial operative hat, imperial operative dalmatica, militia tights, militia duckbills, militia belt, militia earring, and level 49 accessories for the rest), all HQ preferably. It's most likely better than your AF, and you can spiritbind it to make materia, and quite possibly profit.

Once you got that, start your relic quest and work your way along it and likewise through the gear tiers. First AK and Ifrit, then getting most of your gear Darklight and Garuda, then Titan and your relic before snagging mythology upgrades and Coil

Just Keep AF spam AK till you can replace with AF and collect Philo to replace AK with DL at same time

Buy all DL accessories while you gear yourself with strategos in AK and then replace the AK gear with DL gear, then work on your relic

Should take about 2-3days max to get full DL (even less if you play alo)

How is that a waste of time? We're basically saying the same thing, except for the ilvl 55 crafted items. And as I mentioned in my post, you can convert them into materia, sell it, and more often than not get more money than you started with.
