Lightning EVENT is BIG Disappointment for me !

When i saw that this event will come i was really happy ! I was thinking that a story with cinematics and duty dns will be in it for eavery 4 chapters !

And now i have to do fate with 100 of people in it witch are casting ground spells over and over again all the time !

And the quest describtion is poor, what exactly am i supose to do ! In 2 fates when Lightning was there i managed to get in one bronze medal in the other one silver ! Still i didnt get to finish it !!!!!! I also missed 4 fates bacause of those spell spamers and i couldnt hit a thing !

As it seems i have to wait 2-3days so that i can get a chance !!!!

Step 1: Level GLD to 8 and unlock Flash.
Step 2: Use it as a cross skill and spam it until you're out of MP, drink Ether and repeat.
Step 3: Get Gold, Hand in quest.

I guess this is something we'll be seeing in several new important FATEs in the future. If just one or a few get added in, they become the usual brainless spamfests due to there being more than half a dozen participants. The only way to circumvent this would probably be to add a big chunk of new FATEs to all over the world simultaneously. And the small world map we have is already cramped full with FATEs.

I don't think it's worth getting your hopes up for any events this game has to offer. We've seen both Swimsuit and Halloween were something less than disappointing, but they were there.

Main page tells you this is only the first chapter, btw. Got new stuff coming out for the event itself every 2 days leading up to the JP release of LR.

Why would you expect something big from some random event that happens just because it is summer? I can see expecting more from Halloween, but not a summer event that doesn't have much meaning....

I agree, this event is massively disappointing. Standing around waiting for a FATE to appear where you may or may not get the items needed to do the quest. A seasonal event should surely be fun and interesting, not so dull that it bores you to tears. No new FATEs, just old FATEs where the Lightning NPC spawns, but you don't get to see that anyway because of the huge amounts of people stood there. I also have no idea what I'm meant to do for the quest, it says to kill Gertrude or kill the crabs and bring back evidence, yet doesn't mention that there is a good chance you won't get any evidence. I've yet to get any credit for any FATEs I've done and am close to just giving up on this massive waste of time.

Maybe this is the first chapter but, why the hell did they done it like so, only 2 fates like eavery 45 min each in different zone......do they really want to tell me that servers are that empty !

And to be honest dont expect eanything ealse in the next 3 chapters, only that will be in different zone and higher fate lvl....and all the gathering of people in one fate will begin again also the spell spaming !

Loving the event. Had fun going out with my FC mates to hunt for dodos and crabs and play Where's-Lightning? Thanks for the cool weapons. Looking forward to next quest part and the other 8 Lightning Fates. Haters gonna hate.
