There's no excuse for having our bows hovering behind us.
When you have actual gear on it won't look that bad. It's spaced out so it won't clip through armor. No, really, it isn't.

Excuse you? Every other time you aren't naked you have armor on. That takes up space. Space that if you had that weapon right on your back would clip straight through the armor covering it up and making it look ridiculous. That space has absolutely nothing to do with the inclusion or lack of a quiver. In the real world you have a quiver and it would look weird, but this is a video game. You speak to me about ignorance, but you can't even recognize a basic defining characteristic of video games. They aren't real life, and therefore sometimes things get placed in ways that would be impossible or look silly in real life. In this video game we don't have quivers, and we have armor that can clip through weapons. Deal with it.
What? The space has everything to do with the quiver.Excuse you? Every other time you aren't naked you have armor on. That takes up space. Space that if you had that weapon right on your back would clip straight through the armor covering it up and making it look ridiculous. That space has absolutely nothing to do with the inclusion or lack of a quiver.
And then with the actual bow in question (would be better with M Miqo'te):
As you can see, armor does very very little to do with closing the gap between yourself and the weapon.
