Is there going to be any changes done to Black Mages in 2.1?
Are we ever going to see a fight against the Elder Primal Bahamut?

No one is running dungeons anymore. Everyone is grouping up to do fates all day long.
As a result, queuing for a dungeon in DF is completely pointless. Nobody is doing them!
On the rare occasion you do get a group, the other members are very much undergeared, wearing store bought stuff because they have been running fates to that point.
Further to that, you also get lots of people who have no idea how to use their class properly in dungeons since all they've ever done is fates.
Will you fix the XP system with fates to make them less lucrative? The biggest part of the game (dungeons and quests) are being completely ignored because of them.

As a leader of a rank 5 free company on my server I want to know when of if you will be adding things that make FC's more useful for anything other than to get groups for instace runs and other events you need a group for. Also the occasional buff to exp or something.
Can you give some more information regarding player-controlled Airships?
I don't know if any of these will be answered in this Live Letter, but here it goes:
1) Is there any chance to give us any kind of hint or info of possible Job branches for the already existing classes, like you did to ACN > SMN/SCH?
2) I'm positive about a Bahamut BIG Primal Battle being on the works, but is there any info for when?
3) Any new info about the other "forgotten" class from 1.0, Musketeer?
4) Is there any chance to show us pics or videos of in-game Gilgamesh or Cloud of Darkness?

I just want to thank you and your team for creating this absolutely enchanting game that I have invested A LOT of my free time in. I am enjoying myself immensely and currently plan on sticking with FFXIV: ARR for along time. With that being said, my question is about endgame content, the difficulty of endgame content, and the progression of endgame gear.
QUESTION: The big raid, Crystal Tower, that is being released in 2.1 is set to drop item level gear below the Binding Coil of Bahumut and is, by your own admission, easier than Coil. Are their any plans to release a larger, more difficult raid that contains a vertical or even a horizontal gear progression compared to Allagan gear from Coil in the near future? The fact that this new content is not going to pose a challenge to the most currently geared endgame raiders scares me.
This game deserves a large player base who enjoy challenges! Again, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your fan base!

As an avid player of the Final Fantasy Monk job. I am a little puzzled as to why Monks do not have more counter attack options or a passive counter trait. While "Haymaker" can be perceived as a counter after dodging an attack, it's the only form of a counter that we have at this point in time and isn't viable in many endgame battles. Countering has always been one of my most favored aspects of the Monk job type and it offers a valuable defensive role to Monks when in enmity controlled situations.
That being said,
Q: Can we look forward to seeing Monks receive more options (particularly traits) to cancel incoming auto-attacks and return damage to enemies using counter as an additional form of defense to our otherwise defenseless monks?

With Crystal tower bridging the gap will we see ilvl80 and ilvl90 crafted gear in 2.1? If so will new crafting materials be introduced in the world?
