While I agree with you on lack of content don't quit. At least play 1-2 days a week and Cap Myth Tomes and if you can do CoB. Missing those Myth tomes each week is the only thing keeping me from taking a break until 2.1

you cant technically say you have done all content until all classes/jobs/profs to 50, all minions, achievements, allagan gear, etc etc etc
there is no lack of content, the fault is your lack of wanting to stick with it![]()
I'm sorry but no there are some achievements that takes months and years to get unless they changed it. I wish people would stop being so blind to this game, It is lacking in the "End Game" content this is why SE has a lockout on Coils and a weekly Cap on Myth to keep people around. If I really wanted to I could level all jobs/craft/gathers in like a month and Trust me in FFXI I was one of those people who did level everything (except crafting to much gil).
I'm surprised the "You shouldn't have rushed to end game" hasn't come up yet.
You can't really fault Square for having players who play 6 hours daily. You will never be able to make enough content, bug test it, and then release it to satisfy that player base. The content is what you make it. If you dont have patience as an individual, dont paly MMOs at launch.I'm sorry but no there are some achievements that takes months and years to get unless they changed it. At this point, most MMO players have seen almost all mechanics to any boss fight imaginable. So content isn't super hard like it used to be back in the day. Boss fights are becoming more about the experience than actually the difficulty of beating it. If they actually make boss fights very hard people are quick to say they are broken.
If you are Square you cant win either way.

This game has a lot more end game content than most do at launch. I wish people would stop being blind to this fact. Hell, this game has more end game content before the first patch than some out there after the first expansion.I'm sorry but no there are some achievements that takes months and years to get unless they changed it. I'm going to put these together. You can't really fault Square for having players who play 6 hours daily. It is SEs Fault FFXIV ARR 2.0 is not a new MMO hence 2.0. They knew what they were doing. Yes maybe things wouldn't be so bad if they would have had Crystal tower at launch but what can we do.
And there are people who play 12-18hrs+ a day. I guess its their fault for paying a monthly sub to play this game.
Lets not forget Yoshi P himself said the real game starts at 50.......

No, but they can't really complain that they are burning through content so fast. I can see you aren't comprehending the other side of the argument so that's ok. You play the game as is, if you can't wait for content maybe this isn't the MMO for you.I'm going to put these together.

No I understand both sides. There's stuff to do in the game level all crafts/Gathers to 50, Do all the main/side quest, Level all jobs to 50 obtain relics (can't get all the allagan/relic gear cause of lockouts and caps), Level Choco. So I get both sides. I'm going to keep playing 2 days (6hrs total) a week until there is something better.
You know, every time people use these one-liners to complain you just look like whiny kindergartners.
I guess I've been playing a fake game these past two months since I haven't touched endgame yet.
While not everyone has to level as slowly as me, to say that the game has little content is simply ridiculous. Few endgame content? Sure. But what exactly were you expecting from a new MMO? Even FFXI that you mentioned took a very long time to have a lot of endgame content and had plenty of the lockouts that you're complaining about here: Dynamis once every 72 hours, HNMs spawning every 21-24 hours (and only 1 group per server got to actually fight them!), Ullikummi on a retarded spawn window bottlenecking Sky.

We don't want players to have to spend a lot of time getting to level 50. The reason behind this is that we believe the game up to level 50 is basically your tutorial. The real game begins from level 50. We have the real challenges begin there. We have a lot of end content that we've already prepared to be ready at the launch of the game.
