Scholar's Pet Problem in Raiding, Please Help

I'm posting on behalf of our scholar which are experiencing the following during Coil raids:

1) Pet gets stuck randomly and does not respond.

2) In turn 5, when our Scholar gets conflag, the pet would disappear when the conflag is finished.

I'm wondering if other people are experiencing the above, and if there are ways to overcome this.

I general, I hope at this point (T5 Coil) Scholars are placing their fairy instead of just having it on Heel. If it's a problem only caused by it being on Heel then I wouldn't know.

1) Pet becomes 'stuck' seem to be totally random, it seems to happen more in Turn 4, prolly doesnt help with the limited information.
2) Everytime our scholar gets conflag I can see the pet disappear after the conflag duration ends (with scholar alive), our scholar is not using 'heel'. Our scholar starts the fight with the pet on 'passive' and use macros to control its heals, I dont believe theres anything the scholar is doing that are particularly different than you would expect.

Our scholar is also claiming that the pet stance automatically changes itself, is that caused by some scenario? Also, does manually controlling the pet cause alot of issues?
