Idea Concerning PvP

So a few minutes ago some FC mates and I were talking about PvP and How the gear system may work. I know I'm not the only one here who hates having to PvP grind for a separate set of gear. If I don't do it in a quickly fashion I may as well give up. So there being the Morale stat on the Character page. So I suggested that the Morale just be based of off your average item level that way your not throwing your PvE gear out the window. I feel like its a good idea. I'd like to hear what some of you think.

there is pvp gear, there are pictures and it looks pretty badass. I don't know about your idea though. If you enjoy pvping then you will do it several times, if you do it several times you will get currency for gear, if you get gear you win more and you get more currency so you can get more gear.

oh joy more badge of honor tier style gear.. earn your fuckin gear.. this badge clone project sucked ass in wow and it sucks ass hear.. if you cant do content to earn gear then you don't get to have it.. the carebear badge system is in insult to the entire gaming community.. lets go over a week in ffxiv. log in Monday do 10 wp log in Tuesday do turn 1-4 wait till next week and do it again.. sounds exactly like every other boring mmo that people are sick of.. I was really hoping that this badge gear system would have died with wow but it seems like that is in the future here.. its boring with no feeling of real work/reward.
