Paying customers are not going to go through hoops and troubleshoot their system, call their ISP, or bounce a signal off the moon in order to keep paying to play this game.I'm sorry but making 10 year old graphics look like 7 year old graphics and adding player housing is not enough to make me want to play that terrible game again.
And just curious Borfin, have you done any troubleshooting on your end? Have you tried doing a ping and and route trace to SE's servers that show there is nothing wrong on your end?
The fact you don't have issues in other games means absolutely NOTHING. Just go troubleshoot your stuff, that's ALL I'm saying lol.
And take your "oo let's go play wow" somewhere else lol.
Either, SE resolves the issue and people go back to enjoying the game, or they don't fix it and lose customers. It's really up to them.
It's up to them to decide whether they want to invest in keeping a good deal of paying subscribers who get shafted or, you know, ignore them even though Titan HM is basically a random win/loss lottery draw, depending on your location.
But, okay, let's make extreme Primal runs before we get this covered! Great idea right there.

There's more, but I'll leave it at that. Clearly a problem with zooming the camera out.
I just watched every one of those videos and the same thing kept happening. They were all not out of the aoe in time. They were close to being out of the ring before it disappears, but not actually out of it. If that is what people have been talking about this whole time, then they have it wrong... Avoiding an aoe has nothing to do with the *animation* or when the enemy does a weapon swing/throw/wahtever, but instead all that matters is getting out of the circle/cone/rectangle *before* the cast bar ends or *before* the circle/cone/rectangle goes away. In other words, if there is a circle you have to get out of and the boss animation takes 5 seconds longer than when the circle goes away, it doesn't matter - you will get hit by the move if you didn't get out of the circle before the circle goes away. I've always wondered why I never experienced issues with what everyone complains about, and it turns out that people are just not moving out of whatever they need to in time. It's as simple as that.
i actually get that lag issue, and yes i know my isp isnt perfect, but i got a 50Mb down and 25Mb up fiber connection. i only have issues in areas with tons of people, or tons of instances being used, titan, AK back when everyone only ran that, and titan.......and FATEs like coerthas and northern thanalan
and i know its not my computer either, intel i5 3570, with 32gb ram 16000mhz, on a z77 msi board, with a nvidia gtx 6600 gpu
i never have lag issues outside of those few areas listed
Want to know something cool?
I frequently don't move out of the AoE "in time", as you describe it anyway.
However, if I Bio before the attack animation connects, it misses me. If I don't, I get hit.
Imagine that.
Must not be intended that way, huh?
Next time you're dodging something you know you can dodge, cast something while in it. Anything. Doesn't matter what. Don't cast anything afterward, but still dodge the ability. Tell me what happens.
Freaking blind as a bat, I swear. Willful ignorance is not an ignorance I can tolerate.

ITT: Because it doesn't happen to me, it couldn't possibly happen to anyone.
How is it willful ignorance? The videos they showed was showing them not getting out of the aoe in time, so they got hit. If I do as they did, I get hit. If I get out of the circle before the circle goes away, then I don't get hit. If I am in the circle as it goes away, but out of the area for when the animation of a swipe or rock throw or whatever is there, I get hit.Want to know something cool?

Look at the second video, near the end the player moves from the aoe when the cast bar is at 50% and is out of it before it hits 80% and still gets hit. How damn soon do you need to move out of the aoe if you're out before the cast bar is done and still get hit? Might want to watch the video again and see that the problem clearly wasn't because the player didn't move in time. Or you could just keeping typing crap and trying to justify this problem by blaming the player.
I agree. They were blatantly still in the AoE area in nearly every one of those instances when the cast bar and AoE marker disappeared. Too many people think the animation matters when it doesn't at all.I just watched every one of those videos and the same thing kept happening. They were all not out of the aoe in time. They were close to being out of the ring before it disappears, but not actually out of it. If that is what people have been talking about this whole time, then they have it wrong...
