I guess there's no changing the Fresh Meat now, it's gonna happen because we didn't make enough noise about it. What are your thoughts going in, will Fresh Meat affect the longevity of PvP for you?

TBH, I think a solution we could all agree on, is if there was a way to have custom pvp matches with your friends only, no randomized opponenets, that removed Fresh Meat. I'm a little disappointed at the lack of a 1v1 duel option myself, even FF11 had that. Sometimes you gotta be a man and say 1v1 ME DOOD

FF11 didn't have duels unless the players involved bent around the rules of the already established PvP games, which were team based.

I think the fact that you had to necro your own thread answers your own question, I'm not really interested in knowing the names of the individual players. Later on I can see team names being added, but that's up to whether expanding PvP is worth it to SE. And only participation can convince SE to expand on the Wolves' Den.

I don't think it'll really affect things as a whole that much, but for me personally, it's frustrating. I don't want to be "Fresh Meat". I want to be my character.

The point of having an identity is lost when others see you as an NPC. We lose character expression by having our name become something so ridiculous.
