DPS Why do you think you are hot shots?

I main a DRG and alt a PLD.

While alting my PLD im coming across a lot of hot shot DPS I dont seem to quite understand, heres a few things.

Just because you can LB doesnt mean you saved the day, nor do you suddenly deserve all of the loot.

I literally had a drg in my coil pug today act like he deserved all of the loot because he thinks his DPS solely carried the fight. Umm no, you have the easiest, least stressful job in the entire game, quit acting like your a big deal ty.

You are replaceable, there is a reason there is a 60 minute que for you in DF and a sub 30 second Que for my PLD in DF.

Please treat the rest of the group with respect, when I main drg, yeah sure ending the bosses life when half the party is dead is fulfilling, but dont act like you filled that limit break gauge up all on your own.

Especially when put at the head of a party, like say...tank.
Easy to get an over-inflated ego. Or maybe just more proud people gravitate towards the role that leads the charge.

Jerks are jerks though.
DPS has more of them because there are more dps. Per party or in the game in general.

You know writtin that kind of sentence would lead people to believe that you re feelin superior just because you can swap from your dps to your tank. Not a single thing is complicated to play in this game, it just take time to master and that part is more or less stressful depending of the kind of player you are

Last time I ran AK on my Paladin I stood there and mooned the last boss for half of the fight because I had so little to do.

The reason tanks get a 30 second queue is because most people consider tanks too dull to play; me inclusive and this is coming from someone who now mains bard after playing all 3 roles extensively, it's not because tanks are class-royalty - plus marauder's don't exactly get a fair crack at things in end game so there is a brain drain on one of the two tanking classes, with warriors rerolling DPS or heals. Everyone in a team has their role, and if they screw up, it's game over - a tank isn't going to burn heart phase, a healer isn't going to block a mountain buster, and no amount of bard songs will heal people through tumult.

You're always going to get that one guy who thinks he's carrying the others; but judging by this thread, that's usually you OP

Well if it was DRG gear and nobody else had it as a main, yeah I think he's entitled to it (and even if there's competition, he's entitled to Need it). Otherwise I'd agree with you.
