Question about multiboxing PC/PS3

My Wife and I play on PS3 and she's wanting to get a PC ver so it'd be easier for survival purposes, she used to play multiple characters on 11 because we had trouble getting a party, here's what we were thinking of using if she did, setup me: PS3 and a 14 account, her: PS3 and a PS3 14 account and PC and a PC 14 account, and her alt would use a macro similar to this,

/assist <t>
/wait 1
/ac "Skill/spell" <t>
/wait 4
/ac "Skill/spell" <t>
/wait 4
/ac "Skill/spell" <t>
/wait 4

and she wanted to find out if that would be allowed without any ToS violation?

You'd be better off submitting a ticket IMO.
I know many other MMO don't have anything against this (Such as WOW); but any answer I or any other user could give you, would have little to no weight. Now if a community rep was to reply to you, that'd be a different story.

Well, first you'd need to make sure you have two separate accounts for it. Unless something has changed, attempting to log into the same data center with one version, that the other is logged in on gets the "A character is already logged in" error. So, adding pc to the account wont work. You can log in to separate data centers without any issue. For instance, I can log into a character on Gungir (JP) and Excalibur (NA) at the same time, one on ps3, one on pc. But not on, say, Faerie (NA) and Excalibur

Ayane, it sounds like what your talking about is logging onto 2 characters on the same ffxiv account, but we are wondering about 2 separate SE accounts, 1 for the PS3 account and 1 for the PC account, if a community rep could reply that would be great.

idk about the rules either but thought it would be allowed, i have 2 pc right next to each other and play with my 1.0 and the copy of the game i bought for early access. so i ended having and subbing 2 accounts lol though i dont use a macro, i have 1 hand each keyboard to do stuff

this is like what I'm talking about, just using the built in macro system to help with the combat, as illustrated in my original post, since that's how the system can be used, we are just wanting to know this is ok, we use controllers to play our games with on PC and Consoles.

Edit: My Wife just found this, http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...la=1&kid=67225 this shows its ok to multibox in the way she's wanting to do.

as long as you are not using any third party tools or trying to exploit anything multiboxing is allowed. i also have 2 accounts between me an my wife an i dual wield characters frequently

The fact that you can be logged in to the same account twice really freaks me out to be honest.
