well I sell titans and gives free carry to FC and friends...What about all the people that TOTALLY SUCK at Titan HM in the duty finder? People always say it's lag... yeah 1% of the time. When I do anything else besides Titan I rarely hear of lag. There are seriously Titan sellers out there that ruin Titan HM. I'm so glad my FC can beat Titan now so I don't have to deal with Titan. It seriously can ruin your day unless you play with FC/friends 100% time. Even then, avoid the markets and never have a lot of Gil because it will just be stripped away from you in a blanket sweep.
You know what, it doesn't matter. The last multi-player game I played had uber-gear that you had to have ultra rare drops to get. Lo and behold someone shows up with everything possible, maxed our and multiple weapons. by your logic and that of others in this topic that's just not in the least suspicious. But actually the player had CHEATED and used a hack to grant infinite inventory for everything - including the ultra-rate items. It took me less than 30 seconds to kick his butt to the curb from my guild. After listening to some people saying how it was possible if this, and that and the other, and random chance, and planets aligning...he replied to the message about being kicked and point blank admitted to cheating.
Sometimes things just don't survive the smell test, and this example the OP gave is one of those things. If you want to be all rose tinted glasses about it, that's your look out, personally I've had enough games spoiled by cheating scum. Buying gil and then buying the best gear - not earning it - is cheating. can you or I or anyone prove that is how that player got his/her stuff? No, we don't have access to the data to do so, but if it looks like a duck, moves like a duck and smells like a duck, it's duck.
I can't say I support you selling Titans but if you don't make random people fail in Titan then it's alright I guess because you're helping random people out and not affecting people in a negative way. There is still the Gil issue. So even if you don't care what other people do, their actions can still affect you.
I don't think you understand.. I'm not trying to vindicate him at all. I'm just trying to point out that I can do the exact same thing legitimately, so it may not always be that what you think is a "duck" is a duck. Is it more likely he cheated? Yes.. But if you don't have proof of it you probably shouldn't come on here to shame him or people like him. it -is- possible (no matter how unlikely) that he is innocent. And all you're doing is ostracizing an innocent person.
Innocent until proven guilty. Not the other way around.
Need somethin' made?
Does nothing at all. They can log into your account with neither your password nor your one time password. It's a false sense of security at best, really.
Just recently they were taking gil from people who were logged into the game, actively playing. They didn't even need access to your account to steal from it.

Not everyone who has HQ Pentamelded gear is a Gil buyer. This one spent over a week in CM farming for its Astral Accessories set.So last night our FC was running Garuda for fun and alt job weapons. We didn't want to pug a DF dps and decided to do a shout in Mordona to pick up a local. Someone that said they needed to pick up the Garuda weapon, they didn't have relic yet and wanted a upgrade. When we get into group someone points out the pick up we grabbed has no need for the weapon, they are geared to the hilt in millions of gil of HQ over melded crafted gear. Top to bottom, including the weapon. On our voice chat people start saying this guy must of bought gil. Well, no need to jump to conclusions right? Im sure this guy has crafting or gathering up, or something. Wrong. A quick check of lodestone revels that its the only 50 they have, zero crafts, zero gathering and zero experience in game. This guy flat out told us he was a new 50.
So this is my question. How would people suggest handling this sort of thing. This person, while he could have been gifted all his items, almost clearly bought gil. I felt like he should have been kicked from party. I dont like the idea of helping gil buyers out since they (not the rmt) are the plague on our server, without them buying gil, the RMT would have no job and my blist wouldn't have 150 people on it, all RMT.
Should gil buyers, obvious ones, or admitted ones be treated as out casts? Should they be let into runs and parties, or should we say NO!
This reminds this one of something else where people are labeled without evidence...

Well idk about your server prices but Phil items on my server are 30k each so it doesn't take much to make an HQ ilvl 70 if you got friends that can craft. He could also be someone's ALT. The first week of ARR I got level 50 and spamming Castrum I made almost 10 mil before the week was up with zero crafts and I didn't buy gil. There are plenty of ways to make gil.
what to do about it? nothing.. if he wanted to waste real life money on numbers in a game whatever.. yea RMT are annoying but they ain't gonna go away cos you kick that one guy.. maybe he bought gil cos endgame is full of douchebags and he was inpatient lol
To be fair the OP did not use the persons name. This is a game and not the justice system, there is no such standard.I don't think you understand.. I'm not trying to vindicate him at all.
