There is no scheduled events/raids or anything that you HAVE to join. You don't really HAVE to talk to us all the time either.

But we are a social bunch, we like to chat and we like to do group conetent together. Even though it's not required to participate in that, this is the core of our FC.

Im currently doing the endgame content but Im not a very experienced player since this game is my first mmo. In real life Im a 33 year old guy from Sweden that have been gaming for 25 years but not these kind of games. Can I join?

I will keep an eye out for you ingame, but just to give you a warning, the next 2 evenings I'll only be able to play late evenings and early mornings. If you do not want to wait for me you can also get in touch with one of our officers (the list on the opening post has been updated recently).

Especially you, Teifaron will probably have a better chance if you look for Kimiko, as she is our most active officer during US peak hours. You'll probably find her a lot quicker than me.

Second... just a little update:

Well, it's getting time for us to tighten recruitment a bit. That's not because we don't want any new people. But lately we're getting more and more people who only want to join because we're active, big and have a shiny website.

The opening post describes in detail what type of player we're looking for. We're a casual and social FC. We are looking for people who don't take the game too seriously, for people who like to make friends and play with their friends. We like people who ask "Does anyone need help with anything?" rather than "Who can help me with...?" all the time.

I'm just getting way too many tells ingame lately that are basically "Can I join ur guild and haz free stuff?".

We have not closed recruitment, but we're getting more selective. We still don't care about your class, your level or your gear, but no one is getting in anymore until me, or the officer you're dealing with is convinced you understand what the FC is about and have a genuine interest in it.

If you want to make it easier, you can apply here or on our forums and tell us about yourself, what you look for in a FC, what you enjoy in the game, etc. If you don't want to do that, just contact us ingame, but expect a lengthy interview

Hello! I believe your FC is just what I have been looking for. I am a former FFXI player, and I have been playing FFXIV since day 1 (even beta tested so my name is in the credits, haha).

IRL I am a 36 year old guy in Denver, CO USA. I play for fun, not for accomplishments or glory. I typically play FFXIV on weekends while I watch football. I am very friendly, sometimes funny, and always willing to help. I've been figuring out everything on my own, so I am not the type that is going to ask for a ton of help (I know to look it up online), but it would be nice to have other people to chat with in game, and to help out on dungeons and things.

Anywho, if you see this, let me know how to go about joining up. With the holiday (in the States) this week, I am not sure when I will be online next, but I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi there! I recently bought the game and I'm looking forward to socialize with the rest of Eorzea. Long time FF fan but never played FFXI. In FFXIV, I just want to quest and get shiny stuff from monsters. I will probably play the game for a few months and try to convince some of my friends to join.

As far as more personal stuff is concerned, I'm 26 and currently living in Poland, writing my Ph.D. I enjoy reading conversations mostly, I'm more of a quiet lurker, but like to join in at times. Sometimes, I might make a stupid joke but I mean well. What do you say?

Speaking of which, it's fortunate you play mainly on weekends. We do have a good handful of NA players around and the odd european who does shiftwork but NA evenings tend to be rather quiet during the week. Weekends though we're busy throughtout the day.
