    In mining HQ items , everything effect your gathering rate (e.g. Gear Condition,Food,Gatherer Materia) and so on. Check your gear statues before you start gathering.

    Even with gear 50% condition can effect your gathering drastically and get miss in higher lvl nods.

    I second that...

    The only time gear condition affects your performance in crafting/gathering/combat, is when it reaches 0%.
