As someone with a FC that's useless for endgame, I can see why people would do it. After sitting through dozens of PUG titan attempts on both my healers, I do not look forward to doing it again for the rest of my relics.

I won't lie , I bought one of my titan runs when most of my FC wasn't even on relic. However, I would rather say I paid for a team to help me beat titan, and not a team to beat titan for me. I didn't stand around or jump off the side like the actual lazy ones wanting carried. I won't say what I paid, I was comfortable with it and have no shame in saying I did it. Now that most of my FC can fight Titan HM , I can assure you that won't be happening again.

We had a FULL Relic +1 PLD FULL DL gear on a Ifrit HM run . He looked around at the party and said Pfft! you guys are not geared for this fight you guys will not last you guys are a bunch of noobs go get some gear noobs. What happened you ask? well the 2 healers were from my FC and I was the OT (WAR) and I have 2 DL items Ifrits axe and some AK gear I said to my friends in FC chat look at this elitist pile of crap . No one heal him let him die . So we did his name was Like Narcissistic something . So we let him die I ran in and tanked Ifrit stun eruptions solo and we got the win using level 2 LB twice from BLM and DPS on nails without his help at all . I said look at you on the floor with all that gear and a big mouth noob! good times ... good times.

on a more serious note.. I guess I'm kind of glad there is this 'business', because it gives me the chance to easily find the 'jerk FCs'. I don't even blame the people buying the kills since they're most likely getting frustrated by the same things I'm getting frustrated at (though I'm taking it slow so I'm far far from titan hm)
I like how this is making it easier for me to find likeminded people. (queue in comments about how I'm an ass for not liking people selling the kills. hur hur)

Point invalid. Some buy it because they don't have the specific class to craft it, while in this topic, I'm pretty much sure that everyone passed the requirements in doing Titan, no?

Actually it's a perfectly valid point. Let me phrase it another way:
Why do people do [Action1] instead of [Action2]?
And the correct answer in all cases is "Because they can".
And while people are entirely entitled to have their own opinion on any given subject it does pay to remember; having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.

I just don't see what is different with real life. If people can get money for a service and people would buy for that service there is an exchange,
Game is no more different. You buy items from the boards you could craft yourself if you really wanted to and tried.
Buying Titan = not ok but Buying a Vania set = ok. Both have for goal to make you progress. There is no difference.

having said that, it is for sure more gratifying to do it yourself and you feel like you became more skilled in the same time. But it's the same about wearing a vanya that you made yourself
Let people do what they want and avoid those people if you are not interested in dealing with them.

I would never put 500K for a fight, that's for sure. I don't even have that money. But if people do, who's getting hurt? especially for people who buy a kill for their 2nd or 3rd relic because they don't want to be bothered with DF

Finally, to close my comment. I think too many people assume that it's the "noob" who buy Titan. I am pretty sure a new lv50 have what? 200k at max? They can't afford that kill.
And people buying RMT? That's probably 0.5% of people who bought the kill.
People who buy it are the "awesome", well-geared people that keep on failing because of "others" and who did it so many time that they buy it just to get it over with.

Really...why aren't people doing Titan for free for other people?

If they are not in the FC why should we? The entitlement these days. Sometimes I pug titan with a few friends because its probably one of the most enjoyable fights (that isn't weekly locked) and sometimes we succeed with the DF pugs, but in no way are we obligated to carry people to relics for free.
