How many times did you have to run titan to clear it? Probably once with your free company right? There are friends of mine on their 60th try and more.......don't judge people who have tried so many times and become desperate because they simply cant find any good groups to run with. Maybe they think you are lazy because you only ran it once.

only difference are the money in mercenary case which means, the ppl getting carried by their FCs are the lazy ones!!

Or people are sick of doing it with bads and want to buy competent help, it's not just gill buyers and bads with income that want to get carried some times people are just that desperate. I did titan the hard way but I can see how some one would want to avoid the hardship and just get that guaranteed kill.

If it isnt against the rules, people will do it, plain and simple. Mercing out runs for Titan or anything else is not a violation of code of conduct. It does, however, breed very bad players out of it.

The fact that Titan kills ARE being sold, often, shows all of the signs that the fight is not too hard. People just need to play better.

I do not care what others do with the gil they have earned. Hell i may get lazy and buy them for my alts... ive done it legit before but who cares. most pugs end up just badly. Spend your gil how you like i say.

People sell runs for the same reason RMT exist. They are trying to profit off of lazy players, and the market is huge. I personally don't consider run-sellers to be as low-down and dirty as RMT. I do place them in the same general category because their "business" helps to contribute to laziness (just like RMT) by helping people remain lazy. It all boils down to the old "give a fish, teach to fish" saying. Teaching is better for everyone, but there is more profit in giving than there is in teaching. RMT and run-sellers obviously have little to no regard for the game. Profit is their primary goal.

Note: This post is aimed squarely at the majority of run-sellers who have no interest in teaching people the fights. I'm all for people charging to spend whatever time it takes to help others master the fights instead. Doing so is quite a bit of work, and would actually be good for the game community. Unfortunately, I doubt this will become very common. It just isn't as profitable as keeping lazy people lazy

I buy my Titan wins, I've bought 3 so far. I got my first all legit after 130+ wipes, forget doing that again, it was NO FUN at all, i hated every minute of being in there palm facing when people say they can dodge and they get knocked off before the heart.... was awful. I'd rather throw down 300k-500k to have a competent guaranteed win group then spend another 1-2 weeks per relic in there.

Though thankfully, my FC are pretty awesome now and can guarantee a win first shot so and we always take 1-2 members with us to "carry" and help people get their relics.
