People are complaining about maintenance from 1am-3am PACIFIC???

How much more 'middle of the night' can you get??

The time is 1am to 3am on the NA servers, not many people are playing. JP servers are done at a non peak time as well.

This isn't even a big deal cause most people are sleep unless you have some weird schedule when you are up at night.

I'm so happy they rotate the maintenance this time... every 2-3 days I was unable to play as it was always 7pm to 10pm, straight after work... but I see they are doing it 10pm tonight (nz time)

They didn't rotate it, they usually had it around 9pm-1am time frames after people complained about them doing it when most people are in work/school or JUST getting off.

I say do all the maintenance they need to do. They wouldn't take the servers down for a few hours just to irritate people. There is always a reason, and we don't always have to know what the reason is. If the servers have to be taken down for 24 hours or more, I'll be concerned, but not mad.

I literally have no social life outside this game and work, yet I can still find plenty to keep busy while my chosen world is down. Believe me, if I can do that, anyone can

Yes they did.

Emergency Maintenance was literally always 6 or 7 NZ time, after converting the currently scheduled maintenance it's falling on 10pm NZ time.. so they pushed it forward 1-2 hours and day light savings is also scoring me an extra hour too.

So is there two maintenances scheduled for tomorrow? The last maintenance listed doesn't have an am or pm so unsure when it'll be. I don't mind the ones that go 1-3/4am PST even though it's my prime time to play, it's on the latter half of that play time.

Those people who are complaining have a legit reason to be complaining. Square-enix should have gotten whatever "emergencies" cleared up within those last 4 maintenances last week. Square-Enix owes people at least a couple of days for their inconvenience. Telling us that they apologize and thanking us for understanding isn't going to cut it.

Haha! I see this thread resurrected again and it's because people are *happy* that the maintenance is in the middle of the NA night and after NZ prime time.
