Yup. Better keep gear completely two dimensional and linear so people don't have to use their brains at any point when it comes to all them confusing big words like "Haste" and "Slow", or them big numbers like 4 and 7.

eh... how is 'oh cool I use a new skill - guess I need to use new gear - let's click a MACRO BUTTON' any less 'two dimensional' and 'linear'?
don't get me wrong, I too miss the days sometimes (!) where games required you had different gear for different runs, but always carrying around 5-6 sets of gear just so I could press a macro button? hell no. hell to the f no.
