Ohh Wow, they must have just added FFXIV to the list of supported games because when I downloaded and installed this a few days ago for my 660 GTX FFXIV was not listed. I did try it with BF4 and it works great, thanks for the post OP!

It didn't work for me because I usually play on Borderless Windows mode, just have to switch to fullscreen mode and it will work just fine.

b) can't record in windowed mod
c) ability to record in constant framerate

Totally agree. It needs some polish and add a few more features like selecting video recording resolution, temporary file location, among others. But for a first release (still BETA) it works quite good.

I thought wow this would be great. But no focus window.
I have a high end Geforce for 3-6 display depending on how big a project is I'm working on.

So when I game windowed mode is a must for me.

I disabled one of my two Nvidia 670's to test it out and was able to record at 1080p with no real noticeable drop in frame rate. The utility works pretty well, but as everyone else mentioned it needs some additional features (particularly being able to record in Windowed mode).

I did a capture with my camera spinning at a constant rate with Fraps and Shadow Play

Edit: Think my original issue is gone, might be because I didn't reboot after update. I think the stuttering in youtube example is because of google converting 60 FPS to 30 FPS. Fraps was recorded with FPS fixed to 30FPS. I can't seem to figure out how to set 30 FPS in Shadowplay.

This is cool I would love to try it but I am having some problem and can't seem to find it on google atm will continue to search.

But the main problem I have is i updated my driver and nvidia experience to the most up to date, I went in and turned shadow play on. It than said something like 'shadow play is now activating' for like 5 seconds, and it populated my fields and my hot keys on the shadow-play tab on how to manually start and where the videos will be saved, how ever it isn't actually on, when i go to the power button its off and i can't record anything.

Does anyone know whats wrong? I can't click it on cause clicking the power button does nothing now.

was a super stupid fix, Apparently there are some times when it goes and says "shadow play is now activating" and after it activates it doesn't show anything so you are thinking it didn't actually activate. But once you kill Nvidia experience and start it back up its activated lol. So yeah <,<

Not bad, it seems to record pretty much the same as my FRAPS and OBS the only major difference is that this lets me record at 60 FPS where OBS and FRAPS couldn't encode fast enough so I was trapped recording at 30 FPS, which.......... makes the videos look that much more amazing.
