It's even easier once you figure out that at full health you can easily run through him and get stabbed once. Just run far enough so he stops chasing you and then you can simply stay behind him.
No it's not. Demon wall is possible with white weapon, barely if you have a good sync, but last boss, you will run out of pillars after it breaks.
Talking about rotation is stupid, because unles they completely don't know their job, any rotation will be dealing 90% of even the worse rotations. 10% will not be the deciding factor. Cutting it close is luck, and should not be thrown in
"I'm stupidly equipped, but I'm really good!" is a near oxymoron, that only really happens on the internet forums and not in the game.
Green GC weapon or a crafted is heavily suggested.
What you do mean is one member out of 4 can be under geared and still complete. But if you have a whole team fresh off the boat, the chances of them completing AK is slim, even including they know how to run it.
Considering the change to GC, it is not hard to have a lvl50 GC weapon anymore, so that should be the near bottom for a group in AK averaged.
Full team in AF will also be hit drastically harder, and will likely die on one of the later trash groups, though that's not a deal breaker, but the weapon itself is a bigger issue. You do not get infinite time on DW and last boss.

Great feedback guys! Thanks a lot lol, didn't expect this threat to get some many replies!
I entered AK as soon as I dinged 50 on my WHM in white gear, and have been able to complete a crap ton of runs.
AK is easy. Even undergeared DPS can do AK. The only DPS race in AK is on wall, and even then it's designed to be doable by anyone who can dance the dance.
Basically all the fights are doable if you can dance. Anyone telling you otherwise is full of it.

Lately I've been seeing a lot more elitism going on with regard to AK.
I completed AK in AF and levelling items with a GC weapon as a PLD. I did it with 3 of my friends who I levelled with. We spent a long time on demon wall and almost didn't complete the dungeon in time the first time we did it, but after that it was a joke completing in 40 minutes or so.
The content is designed to be done by fresh level 50s who are in AF and assorted dungeon drops. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a god damn idiot. All AK requires is a modicum of communication and skill, there is not a single thing about it that has a real gear requirement.
Most of these horror stories you hear are from people who hit level 50 and started doing AK having only done a few dungeons during their time levelling because they only levelled in FATE groups where you don't need to have any regard for the gear you're wearing at all. As long as you're in level appropriate (45-50 white gear AF, dungeon drops) you're fine
Also Anantaboga is a breeze if you can clear Wall then you should have no problem getting him down. As a fresh 50 with AF HQ 49 acc. and lvl 50 GC wep I didnt even get to the 4 statue coming to life.
1 undergear member out of 4 is not 4 complete members undergeared.
There's a difference. You can't say you've so good you can do it in fresh off 50 gears, when everyone else is glowing like the sun, and burning down everything in their path.
Another good alternative for GC weapon is your relic pre-req weapon, because you will need it at somepoint anyway so why not get it as soon as you ding lvl50.
I find you will have an easier time if you have all level 60 or 70 gear for AK. Otherwise it's best to spam WP until you get at a minimum all gear above level 60. It is also less stressful in the party because they don't have to pick up a person's slack because they are under geared. AK was always hard for me when I went in with level 50 and 55 gear. But I once I got level 60 and some AF pieces it's like cake walk.
