if you only put english, you will only be matched with people who have the english language ticked in their profile.
Masamune being a JP server, you lose a huge pool of player by running ony in english.
Most runs don't need much talk anyway so there is no problem running with JP players.

Here's a wonder amazement: when I started my tanking relics and hit df... Instant Access! And I only use English language. Go figure. lol

Solution: grind/learn tank jobs. XD

While it is true that tanks almost have an instant queue, but it's not a solution at all.

Back in 1.0 yore, ppl use WAR often just for mob farming or quick spiritbonding. In fact, WAR is the best job for mob farming. Remember those raptor skins we highly sought for hamlets or where those abundance of materia coming from?

While it's not really same issue in ARR, tank is more beneficial right now since amount of them playing with it still lowest compared to healer and DDs. Just give it a thought and try, it's not really hard as long as you're not doing something a bit extreme like speed runs.

You do have freedom to play non tank jobs ofc. But that's entirely up to you. And hence, I'll change my original opinion as suggestion.

Ye, I completely understand your point, as I do have a friend Tank (PLD) wherein if he comes with me on a Duty Finder, we instantly get commenced 5-10s after I registered.

But my point was not all got the time and luxury to create a tank while having a main DPS class. In which case, the system is somewhat at flawed here. It's annoying to wait for like 30-40 mins. really, and when it's commenced time, you're grouped with ppl who's looking for a "In-progress" party and suddenly withdraws their registration and when that happens, it's another 20mins. or so waiting time again.
