Vanya Silk and requirements for crafted gear that make no sense.

I just successfully crafted my first HQ Vanya Robe of Healing. I still need to research what the best materia would be for melding and advanced melding.

For the Vanya Robe of Healing, he suggests Savage Aim materia for Critical Hit increases... Critical is probably more useful for Scholars than White Mages, but the alternatives aren't very attractive either. ^^;
