    No that is not true. There are some HQ gear you can still add few stat(s) to them not much maybe +3,+ 4 or sometimes +6 even if the stat(s) is primary. I dont have Scrn shoots but I have seen it in game. I hope someone can back me up on this.

    Edit: I am not fully sure about the Gryphonskin items but I have seen it on Vanyan gear and crafting gear.
