I just did Behemoth on Ragnarok, bronze medal for both parts. I couldn't see him half the time, especially when he killed me 3 times. That was one of the worst experience I have had in this game.

Edit: Make them content, make them hard, make odin/behemoth live up to their reputation and difficulty that you expect from any FF game not a target dummy (which even fails at that LoL).

Sadly if you think about it this game is just a re-skinned MMO with the FF Title... there's nothing on it that would call out FF that couldn't be done with another title. But yes.. the boss fights should have been more epic.... and make the gear last longer.... or Add in a costume tab and make the gear costumes..... i'll be happy enough with not looking the same way at i90 than what I did at i50... it specially bothers me looking like other black mages.

I vote for 24player leves or instance. As a Ps3 player its damn near impossible to get Silver let alone Gold. And thats if I manage to see him long enough to get a few hits in.

Agreed. Both are terribly implemented. Most game developers outside of Korea (and maybe ArenaNet), have realized that giant cluster**** world bosses, are an invitation to headaches, and frustration.

Hell even when the technical difficulties don't screw you, the absurd rating system does. Last time Odin popped, I DPSed my ass off. Died roughly five times due to fighting blind. Did more than the previous time (I got silver for coming in when he was half dead and doing all of jack), then when it all ends, I get a friggin' bronze, which is like a giant middle finger from Square, telling me I was just good enough to get nothing. Doing better, got me less. bad enough that DPS are givin the short end of the stick in most boss fights, but now we get hour long paralysis, and can't even tell which way the idiot is facing.

Better than me. Only time I've actually been able to target Odin I went all out, died five times... and got nothing. Zero zip zilch nada. No medal, not a single exp point.

how do i turn off spelleffects? and can i do it for players only? i would still like to see bossmob circles on the floor
the only thing i have found under options is a choice between medium and high for either laptop or pc

This. They really should bring back levequests that required 8+ members. Odin/Behemoth/etc. would be perfect for content like this even though their rewards are more for visuals than anything else.
